This is a 2.78” cut and polished piece of high grade Black Tourmaline growing or included in water clear Quartz. This would be fabulous if set in a pendant but can also be enjoyed loose like it is displayed here. I have to admit, I absolutely adore elegant pieces like this! The craftsmanship paired with the high grade material, is what sets this piece above so many others we have seen. You can have a great cutter, but if the material is not good, it won’t look great, and you can have amazing material, but a poor cutter, with the same result. The next big thing to look for is the ratio of Tourmaline to Quartz, as well as the placement of it. If there is too much Tourmaline, it does not show the contrast well or allow for the “artsy” look this piece displays. All around this is fabulous!
