Carmilla was missing, well, Laura corrected herself, not missing, just not in their dorm anymore.

Laura had gone to see LaF to return a science book that had been left in room 307, and when she returned, minutes later, Carmilla was nowhere to be seen.

Laura wasn't worried -she knew that anything trying to mess with Carm was signing its own death warrant- no, she was angry. The one night in their week that they get to spend together, no interruptions, and Carmilla just leaves, despite the fact that she said that she wasn't going anywhere.

Laura quickly snoops around Carmilla's side of the room, and finds that the packet of cigarettes, that Carmilla thinks she doesn't know about, are also missing.

Putting two and two together, Laura storms out of the dorm, growing angrier with each step, until she is a tightly wound bundle of rage. She races up the stairs to the roof, too impatient to wait on the elevator, and bursts out of the doorway, hair flying wildly.

She looks frantically around the roof and spots Carmilla, leaning against one of the walls, shoulders peeking out of her shirt, mouth parted slightly to exhale a breath of smoke.

As the door bangs shut behind Laura, Carmilla looks up, and when their eyes meet, Laura feels her mind blank, and when she regains herself, moments later, she has Carmilla pushed back up against the wall.

Carmilla has one hand on Laura's back, the other tracing her parted lips, and the cigarette forgotten and falling to the ground, the residual smoke pouring out of Carmilla's mouth into hers.

Carmilla tries to wriggle out from where Laura has her pinned against the wall, but Laura pushes in closer between her legs, and with a strangled moan, Carmilla concedes the power to Laura -she would never admit it aloud to Laura, but her being dominant is a definite turn on- Laura smirks, almost as if she can hear Carmilla's thoughts, and leans in closer, licking her lips and whispering, commanding Carmilla to kiss her.
