Handyman's Orgasm selfie
Being a handyman and toolguy, I am very happy that our office has invested in a Materials Library, which features all the tools I used to have when I had my own production studio and atelier, as well as materials used in construction.
What make me most excited working and teaching how to use these tools and powertools, is that I have the hanging wall in which all the tools and other materials are on display and easy accessibility. I have always wish to have such a tool wall in my studio, but I had to sacrifice the space for the safety of my then-young daughter.
The photo was taken in 2025, inside my classroom at the School of Design and Communication (sd+c) of the Southwestern University PHINMA (SWU), Cebú City.

Not only did the SWU set a budget for purchasing these tools and materials, I also brought some of my tools from my old atelier, as well as purchasing some new tools. Yes I am a loyal Bosch™ (est. 1886, Germany) user, which I specifically requested for the Materials Library. However my first electric drill was an old 1970s BLACK+DECKER® (est. 1910, USA) drill my father handed over to me.
But I also bought some KYK™ (est. 1980, Taiwan) and Makita™ (est. 1958, Japan) powertools for my old studio, and now some Lotus™ (est. 1995) powertools for the Material Library.
