For all the toxic fanboys who scream that The Walking Dead is a zombie show and complain about bottle episodes and it turning into a 'soap opera'.
It's interesting to hear writer Seth Hoffman and director Ernest Dickinson say no, it is emphatically not a zombie show and "if it was people wouldn't watch it." The Walking Dead in their own words is about "people who are trying to maintain their humanity as they're trying to survive in impossible circumstances." "These ordinary people who had their lives suddenly interrupted and how they deal with it" - commentary on the Season 4 Blu-ray of episode eight Too Far Gone.
