First off, thank you for sending this in!! Buck is such an important character to me and I ā¤ļø yapping about him so buckle in (get it)
He wears his heart on his sleeve. This tends to get him in trouble some of the time though, but nine times out of ten Buck isn't doing something out of malice, he's doing it because he genuinely believes it needs to be done and wants to help.
Despite having a bit of an unusual past, he is not ashamed of where he came from and who he is. Buck has put a lot of work into himself and he's proud of that. He knows he's more than parents who didn't love him and the rough streak he went through in his late teens/early twenties, he's someone who tries every day and that's what matters.
He's an amazing cook, and he can cook a variety of different recipes and cuisines. He wasn't always, and there was definitely a period of his life where all he ate was bagged salads and ramen noodles. But now? He could probably make top four on Masterchef. He'd definitely be the contestant whose voting off was a complete upset.
Being a first responder is a big part of his life and he's not afraid to risk his life for it. There have been multiple times where he's been seriously injured and even died for exactly three minutes and seventeen seconds (thanks for counting Eddie!) because he is so dedicated to his career. Helping people is such a vital part of him that his own life goes out the window if need be ā he will never be afraid to help someone else.
He will be Buck. For those who don't watch 911, being Buck is typically used to describe stupid or reckless things Buck does. Buck usually knows they're stupid and reckless and he simply does not care. He will be Buck.
