here is my take on the fuzz face, i call it the fuzzcream. but why make another fuzz face clone?
well the germanium fuzz face is what started my adventure into the DIY world, and after months of tweaking the circuit, I found out which components worked and which had to go.
i gave it the ability to clean up better with your guitars volume, I gave it a fatter output and also a wide ass range of bias adjustment to go from creamy sustain to alarming sputtery madness.
Oh and i almost forgot the NOS germanium transistors, i usually use russian germanium transistors but from time to time i will use a few different types. They will all vary in sound and feel but at the end of the day , the key to the right sound is testing and choosing of the transistors.
