he’s an absolute genius though like most of the time he’s the one who stops his buddies (the ninja!) from doing stupid things and also he’s always the one to come up with the most logical solution (even though the ninja don’t always listen to him) and i feel like he isn’t given enough credit for this :(

also! he is very much the sweetest kindest purest nindroid (or person) you will ever find in ninjago like HOW MANY TIMES has he sacrificed himself for the sake of his friends? and he is THE! ICE! NINJA! how cool is that (pun intended)

MASTER OF EARTH BABYYYY he’s like the strongest one there but also the kindest ones. like he’s always the one to bond with the children and the animals (cases in point rocky and little wu and krag). he could bash your head in at any given moment but he can also be the sweetest guy ever

my guy grew up thinking he was destined to be the legendary green ninja only to realise he WASN’T even though he was the best at the time, so crushed and angered by the news he leaves only to die. but HE LIVED!! and now he’s an edgy evil ghost who turned good and then died. again. BUT HE LIVED! AGAIN!! and now he’s good!! ninjago characters don’t get any better than that

ARIN:

You think getting separated from his parents during the merge at a young age is gonna stop him? No!! He’s the most positive, enthusiastic bean the fandom could ask for. Oh and he taught himself spinjitsu, which is technically impossible to do without a mentor. He’s also a huuuge fan of the ninja (like us)!

She is THE girlboss!! You don’t get to call her “the girl ninja”, you don’t get to underestimate her, because if you do it’s a grave mistake and the last one you’ll ever make. Nya is the master of water, and the former Samurai X. even though she was the last one to join the team, she’s just as good as the rest of the ninja, sometimes even better. Aaand she’s an absolute genius.

GARMADON:

Pure evil but he cares so much about his family!!! He never wants to harm Lloyd and literally has to get possessed for the final battle to happen. Seems like he doesn't want to be evil but accepts it bc destiny. Tries his best after Lloyd saves him to atone for the evil he did. Such a compelling character!! I'm emotionally attached to him over S8+ but he's interested too.

LIL LLOYD:

aight listen here this lil gremlin is the most annoying little brother EVER

like him freeing the serpentine JUST for candy was literally the cause of half the problems in ninjago

but he also had to put up with so much shit like being abandoned at a school for bad guys and then living alone for who knows how long after running away and then learning that your dad now has four damn arms and you’re gonna have to kill him some day because of destiny 

but he still manages to be so hilariously annoying despite all that

so OF COURSE my boi deserves this title

LLOYD:

look he is THE tortured main character like how many times has he suffered in the past 17 seasons?? but despite that he’s still an awesome leader and mentor (well, most of the time) and have i already mentioned that he is the legendary green ninja? meaning that he could absolutely murder you but doesn’t because he’s the kindest wisest most goodhearted guy in all of ninjago :)
