She hadn't really been paying much attention to what people had been saying around her-- most of it being either stuff that frustrated her or stuff she didn't understand because she was new to it all. It almost seemed to be putting her to sleep as her cheek rested on one of her fists, her elbow against the arm of the chair she'd been sitting in. The moment she felt fingers running through her hair, however, she sat up immediately and choked back a squeak as she looked up to see who it was. "Yes hi hello I'm awake."

"Who're you? You one of Jan's friends? Or...have you seen her? She's pretty short, wears contacts. Long dark brown hair-- probably going on about sleepwalking, or something?"

"That-- wow, Liam. Just...just wow."

"I just— I’ve been told on more than one occasion that when I start talking a lot all at once when I’m excited about something that I just— I get annoying. And you’d think I could just brush it off with a little ‘sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me’, right? Yeah, no, that doesn’t work at all. Since those times, I have to watch everything I say and make sure I don’t start going overboard and talking really fast. It’s tiring, really, having to watch myself so much around others. I shouldn’t care this much about what they’ve said about this, but I can’t help it. Hell, I’ve seriously considered quitting the talking thing altogether because of it."
