I’ve been dealing with some serious cyberstalking issues for the last few months. Their tormenting started because I had the nerve to defend a person they were accusing of plagiarizing, and by accusing, they were relentlessly targeting, tormenting and cyberbullying.

Everything they posted about me read 80 shades of crazy and I was okay with ignoring it until last night.

I had to delete because the crazies made a blog containing my real last name. Which terrifies me because how did they get it? Someone pointed out it was on my skype, but I never had it anywhere else. So, I’m absolutely terrified that someone who claims to be my friend is actually not.

My cousin and I talked it out, he looked at the two blogs in question and we kept talking it out until like midnight, and he said “I think at this point, for your own safety, and your followers, you need to delete. All of it.” He understood how important the gossip blog was to my happiness, but at the same time, I didn’t want their usual tactics to begin, ie: reblogging posts of mine and posts I’m tagged in, with people who aren’t even involved. I felt that there was no way for me to protect all my followers from them wanting to target me and there was just no way for me to continue using tumblr and feel safe while there is a blog with my full name.

Ironically, I thought about saving it a few weeks ago, just because.

But for now, I’m bowing back into the shadows. The gossip blog may one day come back, it may not. It’s all instaff's hands now, as I have sent them an email from my university email as proof of my identity, and have written absolutely everything down, with screen caps and permalinks to posts.

If you wish to write to [email protected], I will not stop you. But please be aware that flooding them with messages about this problem might only take them longer.

I do seriously and sincerely request you do not engage with either of the blogs, should they rear their ugly heads in any of my old URL’s tags, including the gossip blog’s.

You guys were fantastic, and amazing, and I will truly miss all of you. Thank you for giving me something amazing and embracing me though none of you knew who I really was.
