However if he doesn’t he is well within his right to not do so. You’re free to disagree, but I’m not holding him for responding negatively to that especially considering if I were him I would have done worse and wouldn’t regret it.

I will not be holding Jan to do something that I personally would not do if I were in his shoes. THAT to me would be unfair.

Equipment and abilities- Proficiency in firearms and melee weapons- Having been trained in various guns and blades since he was seven, Jan is very skilled at handling all types of weapons. Heightened agility- Jan’s very fast and agile, using his small frame to his advantage in combat. Proficiency in hand-to-hand combat- He was trained by a soldier, so he does know at least two different martial arts suited to his natural agility, and he’s very skilled in a melee. Multi-lingual: He is fluent in four different languages. Russian and English are his mother tongues, with him being taught Japanese and German by his mentor.  Garuda- This is a custom-built .45 caliber pistol that’s been with Jan since he started his career as a mercenary. It’s based on the Colt 1911 platform, but with several improvements and modifications; the magazine holds about ten rounds, and it has a titanium slide for smoother action. Jan never goes anywhere without it. Augments- Left arm- Jan received a new left arm following the loss of his original one, and the new one has its own bells and whistles built in. There’s a folding blade as long as his forearm that pops out of the wrist, collapsing into a compartment when not in use; he has a taser built into the elbow for non-lethal engagements and take downs; he also has micro missile launchers into the top of the forearm, about four missiles are loaded in, each with the power to destroy a tank. Subdermal armor- He now has armor plating woven into the muscles of his torso, arms, and legs to provide added defensive capabilities. Reflex booster- A booster that gives him heightened reflexes for faster reaction times. Hazushi-tech scanners: His eyes are replaced by a pair of scanners, giving him the ability to zoom in and out as if he had a pair of binoculars. He also has the ability to scan targets for weak points to exploit in combat. In addition to these features, he has a HUD, and the eyes can switch to different modes of vision, such as infrared, thermal, and night vision. Health system: A system that monitors the status of his body, and ensures he’s healthy by way of using his own cells to repair wounds received, and by filtering out toxins and pathogens out of his blood stream. ARES combat system: An illegal augment installed without his knowledge, or even that of the company he’s employed by, the ARES is capable of essentially making a super-human out of its user. They’ll get enhanced strength, speed, and stamina. The drawback to this system is that it is incredibly dangerous to use, as it’s fused to the nervous system, and because it takes so much out of the user, it could paralyze or even kill them. Jan is aware of this, and he refuses to use the ARES as the risk is just too great.
