Plant of the Day
Sunday 16 July 2017
The bees seem to adore Allium sphaerocephalon (round-headed garlic) which is a small-headed, late flowering ornamental onion. It can be grown in borders with a freely drained soil or in meadows. In the background of some of these images are a beautifully textured, organic-shaped pergola woven from Salix (willow) by the talented willow artist Tom Hare.
