The great Tomaso Albinoniās Concertos, from Opus 9. Previously, I was only aware of Albinoniās hauntingly beautiful Adagio in G Minor (adapted into a hearty ballad by Lana Fabian here). Later, I discovered in reading that he had been one of many influences on a certain J. S. Bach. But I have not properly listened to his music until the last 2-3 days. Albinoniās concertos remind me why I enjoy the light, energetic sound of Italian Baroque.Ā Ā
