For twelve years artists/Columbia professors Rirkrit Tiravanija and Tomas Vu have been staging Green Go Home in galleries, art fairs, and t-shirt popups around the world, creating walls of resistance! wherever they go.

These two silkscreens on newspapers are coming up at auction in New Jersey in Sept 2025, in case you're wondering how the resistance is going.

FRANK UNDERWOOD: This was handmade by Thomas Vu, a very talented American artist. He laser-etches images on one side and on the other side he puts Beatles lyrics.

Rirkrit Tiravanija & Tomas Vu: Green Go Home

In the Studio with Tomas Vu

NYC-based American painter, printmaker Tomas Vu offers his perspectives on Artist in Residency programs.  Vu is currently faculty at the School of the Arts, Columbia University.  He holds the LeRoy Neiman Professorship in Visual Arts and also serves as the Artistic Director of the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies.  At the Neiman Center, Vu has produced a serial body of work entitled Flatlands.
