Gay Legolas caring for her but she wastes away of a broken heart after (bisexual) Kili dies, as elves often do

Gay Legolas falling for bi Aragorn against his better judgement because he's LITERALLY HIS IDEAL MAN OMG but it's always been (gray-ace panromantic) Arwen for him

The vague premise:

"Kili develops crushes pretty easily, but is also just attracted to people a lot. He finds everyone so beautiful he almost doesn’t know how to handle it.

    Fili loves him and just laughs at him a lot, never making fun of him though. He doesn’t think Kili is silly. He simply thinks that his brother is amazing and adorable and it’s always just a little funny when you’re sitting in the prisons of Mirkwood for the fifth day straight and your little brother is absolutely fawning over not one but three separate very Elven guards who’ll barely give him the time of day.

    Then one of the guards does give Kili the time of day and suddenly it's a little less funny. Kili falls head over heels with this redheaded Elf and Fíli isn't sure what will be worse, Thorin getting thunderous at him for supporting his little brother or his little brother being heartbroken that Fíli isn't supporting him."

I have pronouns and/or attractions for most of the Company already decided, but am definitely open to suggestions. This was inspired by a Tumblr post (which I'll try to find and link or smth) about Trans guy Kíli being attracted to a trans woman Elf in Rivendell and the other Dwarves assuming she's a dude and correcting Kíli before he "misgenders" her to her face because neither race thinks the other one is inclusive and gender expansive. I'll probably include that encounter or something v similar.

Anyway, I'd love to rant about this idea more! If you want to know what identities different characters have I'm happy to answer! If you have suggestions lemme know! If you know things that are like this

Someone give me trans Boromir.

Boromir staring at Aragorn/Gimli b/c he can't grow a beard.

Boromir eyeing Legolas because wtf I thought all men grow beards why can't I be an elf and blend in.

Boromir succumbing to the ring because he wants to be accepted, he wants Gondor to be an accepting place, he wants his father to remember his daughter is now his son, he wants  the few other trans men he's met to not have to hide, he wants to have a spouse who loves and accepts him, he wants to sire children, and the ring promises that to him.

Boromir dying because since he went with the fellowship he's been binding constantly and the arrows don't kill him, a rib breaks and punctures his lung.

Boromir wanting to be like Faramir in more ways Faramir could know, and that is why he always takes Faramir's side against Denethor because 'we're brothers.'

Boromir being afraid of Galadriel because he's afraid of her finding out his secret and then she doesn't say anything but the gold belt is a sign of masculinity and heroism to the elves.

Boromir volunteering to go on the quest because he's a man dammit and he can't imagine continuing to live in a world where he has to live in fear of someone discovering his secret. Boromir volunteering to go on the quest because he wants the world to be a better place and he'd rather die trying for that than live to see what Sauron makes of it.

Legolas and Aragorn being more or less aware of his secret but elves are completely accepting and Aragorn knows what he found in Gondor as Thorongil.

Gimli being aware of it but accepting him as normal because Dwarves have at least 5 genders.

Boromir thinking no one accepts him until his dying breath where Aragorn tells him he will go to Minas Tirith, but what he means is that he will go there and make it better for other trans men as the kings of Gondor made it in the old days, before the stewards.

Boromir meeting Gandalf in the in-between-place, and Gandalf being completely accepting and then Boromir must go and be reborn as he is not in the body that imprisoned him. Gandalf promises him that he will watch over Faramir.

I think that I can easily ship Beleg and Turin because: Turin tearless turning suddenly on the corse cast him, and kissed the mouth cold and open, and closed the eyes.
