Happy second convention! Had another wonderful Evangelion Hunting with @teal-pen!
A few Rei and Asuka figures and art to be found, but the most important find of the day was Gendo Ikariโs ADV and Rebuild eng-dub VA, John Swasey!!!!
I was very excited! ๐โจ I was wearing my same Ritsuko Akagi closet cosplay from the last convention, and he recognized the NERV on my face mask right away!
There was a Funko Pop booth that not only had Rei, Shinji, and Asuka in their plugsuits, but also a rarer Asuka in her school uniform, and a last second discovery of EVA FRICKIN UNIT 01!!! Very very cool, very very exciting, yes yes yes. But it wasnโt until I got home that I realized the version I snagged was the special edition Bloody Eva Unit 01 that I was going on about to my friends at the convention.
Aaaaaaa how freakin wonderful!! What a surprise! What a steal!
And, there was a very cool print booth that had all sorts of really beautiful โVisit _____!โ posters and postcards as well as some other great prints. I got the two Evangelion prints they had; one for visiting Tokyo-3, and one of a more traditional Japanese art style with the angel Sachiel holding a beheaded head of Eva Unit 01. Both are so so stylin! ๐ @thepixelempire

In all, the whole place was having a wonderful time. Less artists and more vendors at this one, and also much more comic and western fandoms stuff. What a fun experience!
