Umm.. because we have jobs, school and lives to get back to? The Internet may be open 24/7 but we are not. Forgive my bluntness, but if it bothers you that much, why not help us out instead of complaining?
I am in the United States, Tokusatsu is somewhat hard to come by here (depending on which franchise it is) and I don’t have the time nor patience to learn 3 different languages (Japanese, Chinese and Malay) just to understand one or more TV shows. I knew going into this, this would be a slowgoing project.
Another factor is most users tend to gravitate towards KR Wiki and RangerWiki out of familiarity, so we need to keep an eye on them. No troll or vandal should barrel through and try to wipe over 16 years worth of effort we poured our hearts and souls into. (RangerWiki is going to be 20 years old in 2025)

Ever wonder where we get info?
Well the simple fact is..it is not easy. Aside from fansubs, which we actively try to avoid encouraging when a legal release is present, many projects in our little wikia hub have stalled due to lack of help or data.
But fortunately, we have fans on the outside who can help give us what we need to build pages.
We also did homework and tracked down sites that can be a big help....

All we need is someone to translate some of that info, verify it and BOOM, magic happens.
As I state often, we are not perfect. This project is going to take a long time as we are a small niche fandom with little official outside support. If someone were to ask me when Tokupedia will be completed my answer is..”I don’t know.”
(Also, I kinda have my own problems to deal with, like working to get food and stuff and sleep. Toku is great but you can’t eat it or wear it to keep you warm...and even if you could it probably doesn’t taste very good or is a size too small XD)
The genre is still an ongoing part of Japanese Culture, so there is a possibility there is literally no end to it..and I would not have it any other way. This is one of the little gems of imagination that make our human world so bright, joyful and diverse!
