What is your favorite TMNT iteration?
For me that is Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! (ROTTMNT)! Hands down. ROTTMNT is what got me back into TMNT.
Funny story about how that happened! I have this one memory from when I was little, me and my friend were sitting on the coach watching a show. Every time I replay that memory, bits and pieces of a TMNT theme song just replay in my head.
Now- I had absolutely no idea where it came from, and I didn't bother to find out. So, for YEARS I just had a TMNT theme song living rent free in my head.
That all ended when I met a friend of mine. They actually write fanfics for TMNT, please check out some of their stuff. (@hamatos4ever)
Their passion dragged me into TMNT, starting with Rise. Might I just say what an iteration to start with! The lore is amazing, the character design is great, not mention the characters themselves. (Also, thanks to the Rise theme song, I realized that I just had TMNT living rent free in my head.)
Donnie is by far, my favorite out of the turtles. I saw a lot of people talking about how Donnie was a great representation of someone on the Autism Spectrum. I skeptical at first but they weren't joking. He really does feel like someone on the spectrum. Which I absolutely love because I feel seen for once!
