Do you guys think Renet knew when Splinter would die? Do you think she had to deal with seeing Mikey be so happy and excited knowing what was to come? What about counting down the days until he'd call and she'd have to comfort him knowing that she could have prevented it but she didn't. Because she wasn't supposed to. Knowing that she could still go back and stop it but she won't.

This is my premise for my TLR Mikey x Renet spinoff; Mikey essentially gets really pissed at Renet for not telling or even trying to warn him about his entire family dying and they have a nasty break up and then years later he’s Ronin and things are different and he sort of misses Renet but can’t forgive her without feeling like he’s betraying his entire family for it. Angst mainly but I do want it to have a sort of happy ending idk, as happy as it can be with Mikey dying at the end lol
