In an episode that takes efforts to point out the scars left from the Familiarisation process, I am VERY interested to know what caused the matching lacerations on our fave Twelvelms boys. Mapping out Cyanโs seal markings is so romantic!! Stop it!!! And, god, everything with Thomas Vane is just obscene. And Abagnale knows everything. I know it. your hands grip at the hem of your clothing, your father stood next to you. He smiles down at you, you can't help but smile back. You let out a soft cough as you enter the palace, there stood a tall man, he had a beard and a big beautiful crown on his head. โHello, King Lewisโ Your father bowed, you straighten your back before doing a cursty. You glance up at him, he had a smile on his face. You get up and he looks at you before clapping his hands together, โwhat is your name?โ He speaks, you smile and say your name. โThat is a wonderful name, I hope that you enjoy your time here.โ He says, you nod your head and your father grins and side-hugs you. โUnfortunately, I have no children, so you must play by yourself. Hope that won't be a problem.โ You smile. โIt's okay, Lord Lewis! I have always been a lonely kid!โ You say, your father chuckles, nervously. โMy dear,โ he pats your shoulders. โTheir my only child, that's what they meant by lonely.โ Your father says, King Lewis laughs.
You walk around the palace, you see an garden. You gasp and he notices. โSee the garden? Want to go check it out, darling?โ You ignore the last part as you nod your head, your father sighs as he watcjes you being lead by Lewis, he soon follows behind. โWoah!โ You say, seeing all the unique plants, roses and fruit brushes! โThe servants take care of this, my wife enjoyed it very much.โ He says, you see a beautiful, white rose. โI think this rose, matches you.โ He says, you tilt your head. โIt looks pretty like you, so pure and innocent..โ He mutters the last part, you smile and your father gasps. โGah?!โ The king laughs. โOh my goodness, Harry! Do becareful, that's a Venus trap!โ He laughs. You blink your eyes and next thing you know, your at a large table, food inform of you, your father sits next to the king as you sit a few seats away.
โI have a question, Harry.โ Your father looks at the king. โYes, my lord?โ He says, taking a sip of wine, the wine says โThe Dawn Winery, Ragnvindr.โ Your father tilts his head. โyour child, seems like a good kid.โ He says. โThank you, my lord.โ He says in a confused tone. โI remember you mentioning something about needing more money and I have a proposal.โ He takes a sip of wine, you grab a knife and cut into the steak. โYesโฆ?โ You feel a gaze so you look up and smile, then look back down. The inside of the steak looks nice and it looks juicy. โI desire to marry your child.โ The words don't reach you as your father falls silent. He looks at you. โMy l-lordโฆit's just a child, and-โ a finger stops him form speaking. โHarry, you know what to do.โ He says, your father bottom lip trembles and he sighs, nodding his head. โWhat..โ your shocked face breaks his heart as you look at him in confusion, he can feel his heart breaking. It hurts him so much, his sweet child. โI love you, my dear. This will help dad, okay?โ He says, holding your face in his hands. You nod your head, slowly. This will help him out, you have to do it. โCan I go home with you atleast?โ You ask. He shake ships head no, he gives you one last kiss. He bows to the king, the king smiles and turns to you, the smile not leaving his face.
โWhat.โ A voice says. โThat's a child, Lewisโ another voice says. โThat is taboo, my lord!โ A other voice says. โI know and I don't care.โ He says, the people galre at him as they look in confusion, shock and disgusted. The king gets up and leaves, it's a shock. Marrying a child, that was bad enough.
Not even two days later, youโre dressed in all white. Your fingers play with eachother, as the maids rush around. Dressing you up, it was your wedding after all. It was all too much for you, you smiled when you remember that you will see your dad! After some moments, you can hear people talking, there was a big door. An old butler walks with you, hooking a arm with you. You gulp and close your eyes, walking slowly as whispers are heard. Your eyes land on him, you gulp, your hands feel sweaty. The man lets you go as you stand in front of the king, dressed in white. His hands reach yours and you turn your gaze to the crowd. You don't know anyone there, maybe some but most importantly you don't see your father. Your heart hurts, a harsh squeeze makes you flinch and you nod your head. "Their just shy, they mean I do." That was it, sealing your fate and future with him. So much happens, walking side by side, lights and a party. You finally got away, going to the place which felt safe for you, the garden. You close your eyes and remember hearing a voice, it sounds like your best friend, Kazuha. There's no way, that he is here. You hug your knees to your chest, closing your eyes. You want him to be with you. Tears form in your eyes and you hear a voice. "Your the king's spouse? What are you doing here?" A boy with indigo hair, his hair is long. Reaching up to his back and he has soft eyes. "Leave me alone.." you speak out, hiding your face. "Sorry, I am just worried." He says and you blink and shake your head. "A-ah it's fine, I shouldn't get mad at you.... My name is yourname." You introduce yourself, he smiles softly and introduces himself as.....

Monstrous Productions is casting for our next fiction podcast, The Lion and the Adder - a 1920s supernatural detective story!
We are particularly looking for a Jewish actor to play Ariadne Pollett, a Jewish academic in her mid-30s teaching Arcane Semiotics at King's College London. She's a fairly minor character in this season, but we intend for her to be a recurring role throughout the series.
Ariadne is a staunchly moral woman who will always choose the right path (at least by her own lights...) over the easy path. She is vocally anti-police and plays an important role in criticising our protagonist Robin's involvement with Scotland Yard.
We're looking for someone who can help our audience connect with Ariadne not despite her hardness but because of it. Sheโs fierce and unyielding, and we want those to be positive traits, not flaws. We also need to hear her wit and intelligence, and to see why sheโs one of Robinโs oldest friends.ย
This is a paid role, offering ยฃ30 an hour for simultaneous recording, and ยฃ2 per line of asynchronous recording. We estimate that Ariadne's part will be paid roughly ยฃ90, though this will depend on actual recording time.
We particularly want to hear non-English accents in this role, which enthusiastically includes ESL speakers!
We're also very happy to hear from actors of any gender who feel comfortable playing a lesbian character who uses she/her pronouns. For trans VAs in particular, we want to be expressly clear that you are welcome to audition regardless of whether your voice would be mistaken for cis. We love trans voices, and want to hear yours!
