"Beautiful"
Title character changes -- why? I guess we have a new change in perspective -- I guess initially on some level you celebrate the final expression of conceit from Reggie -- place the 'anti-hero' tag on him -- but now you turn it to Betty and what it means for her.

I love the trope of making “Jones” the last name of the title character in a play to show that it’s a modern adaptation, like in “Carmen Jones” or “Lysistrata Jones”. Like what’s next, Hamlet Jones? Oedipus Jones? I’d like to believe that they’re all part of the same family and their stories connect in some convoluted timeline.

Is Kuroshitsuji about a demon that acts as a butler, or is it about a teenage aristocratic boy's life?
It’s sort of both, but the Black Butler isn’t just the title character. Even according to Yana-san, the demon is the true *main* character.
So, you could indeed say that instead of it being “about a boy and his demon” (like the old phrase “about a boy and his dog”), it’s “about a demon and his young master”.
As such, I expect character development from Sebastian. We’ve seen some, but I expect more….
