Christina Chong as La'an in Strange New Worlds 4.02 'The Griffin Incident'
Alice Braga as Maggie in 'We Are Who We Are'
Okay, so like everyone else, I'm more than a little taken by La'an in her riding gear...
Kindle edition of the 'biography' now only £1.77!
Oliviyah Bain, manager of Afrori Books, was a sensitivity reader for this fictional biography, and wrote as follows: "I enjoyed every moment of this book!Â
You can see the writer has a love of music and history, the band slotted into history seamlessly. Following the women throughout their lives and musical journeys was an incredible experience and the writing kept me so engaged until the end."

REASONS TO BE NICE TO PEOPLE:
why the fuck do you need reasons just be nice to people omfg
'For one week in 1967 the Sweet Pills had the number one US single and the number one album in both the US and UK.' No Way To Beehive, Chapter 28.
From the reviews: 'The Sweet Pills are the girl band that we never knew we were missing. Tim Pieraccini has installed them seamlessly into that frenetic decade and by the end of the book you could be forgiven for forgetting that they were not really there at all.'
Liv Ullmann and Amanda Redman in Frederic Raphael's 'Richard's Things' (1980). Only Redman's second screen credit, and to be playing opposite Liv Ullmann! She's fantastically good, too.
Zeynep Sonmez during and immediately after her victory over Leylah Fernandez at Nottingham today. @womenoftennis

Claire Foy as Helen MacDonald in 'H Is For Hawk' (2025)
The two faces I'll miss most from The Boys - Karen Fukuhara and Erin Moriarty. From the final episode.
Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
It's rude.
Sweet Pills model Solomia Tkachivska (as herself) holding the Pills second album, Can You Take The Sweet Pills?
From an Amazon Review of the book: "If you love 1960s culture, the British music scene, or stories about friendship, ambition and creative tension, this book absolutely delivers. It has that rare quality of feeling both nostalgic and fresh at the same time."
