I've been living and working in the Cambridge for about 6 months now which has given me the opportunity to meet a completely different way of life, which is both challenging and motivating. Since I'm in Cambridge, I've been around people that seek knowledge on a greater level than any group of people I've been around before, or at least it seems that way. Initially, I felt a bit out off my league at work, but I feel like I'm slowly but surely improving. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to travel and experience cultures and cities that I never thought I would get the chance to see. My curiosity has become much greater in a vast range of topics and I feel like I am becoming a sponge for so much information and I'm incredibly excited about this new aspect of my life. For me, it seems natural to begin some sort of record and analyzation of all the new, exciting, and interesting events and information coming into my life. It might be weird that this is happening after 6 months of being overseas, but I guess better late than never? I have this notion that I could potentially have a unique look on architecture, culture, design and people, but I am a long ways away from figuring out what exactly makes my point of view different from everyone else's. The idea of sharing my thoughts and experiences seems incredibly therapeutic and self-reflective and maybe that's what's drawing me toward pursuing writing as a new hobby that could eventually turn into something more serious. Either way, I feel like this urge is something that's worth following and might even end up being a career change and drastically alter the plans I have set up for myself....but most likely won't amount to anything. Ha. But this brings me to my initial question?...How does one start writing?
