It was cold today (snow on the Gramps this morning, not that we can see them from home), but we had sunshine for much of the afternoon. It was a good chance to catch up on some outdoor chores and take a walk to the bottom of the paddock. There are tiny forests down there! I've been busy this week but not with jewelry. Instead I've been having an absolute blast running workshops for some local schools around biodiversity at the site for Caerphillys new tiny forest, that we'll be planting in the autumn. This is what I was up to yesterday morning, planning and prepping for hopefully some school workshops around the new tiny forest being planning in morgan jones park. Tiny forests are amazing for biodiversity, air quality, carbon capture, and given they're usually near population centers they're fantastic for providing access to nature and improving health and happiness because of this. Proof that bigger isn't always better! So can you think of anywhere that could fit a tiny forest near you? Or could you even just plant a tree?
