fernbite is windbelly(āā)ās father who he doesnt know is his father because along with her need to Not Be Tethered Down was stormjawās need to not be committed to a relationship or tied to fernbite in any way shape or form. he was a pretty good sport about it, but it did lead to some reckless behavior in an attempt to be noticed for Literally Anything by literally anybody, because heās kind of unremarkable. heād have wanted to mentor windbelly, but windbelly is. yk. a medicine cat.
