I wasn't able to draw anything for today so instead I'll share a memory:
I was 7 when Monkey Team started airing. I don't remember how I discovered it (I probably just stumbled across it channel surfing) but what I do remember is how much I ADORED it. I would push my dad to rush home from my dance practices just so I could see the new episodes. And if I wasn't able to make it home I would beg him to record them. There are still VCRs tucked away somewhere with random episodes of SRMTHFG on them. One of my most vivid memories from that age is sitting on the couch on my dad's chest watching Monkey Team!
This series is one of my favourite pieces of media ever. I rewatch it on a yearly basis, I've been lurking in the fandom since I discovered online fandom, I've had the theme song memorized forever, my cat's name is Jinmay!
