Day 17
So my new normal routine is bed at around midnight and up at 9am and it suits me just fine. Is it wrong that I'd like lock down to continue for a lot longer yet. I'm happier, more relaxed and getting on top of things gradually. It's a revelation. What do I do when this is all over and I don't want to have to go back to seeing people again. I won't have a choice obviously but I'm going to be self isolating by choice still if and when I can.
The radio has brought so much comfort and solace and helps provide routine.
Issy and I scheduled in some keepy uppy/footy practice. Its become an important part of our day.
I turned off and defrosted one of the freezers as it was crazy to run two half empty freezers. Then Stuart came home with 5 bags of shopping and I had to turn it on again. He bought me gin and chocolate so that's my easter weekend sorted.
Tonight's job was sorting out some household paperwork and filing. Oh the joys, no really it's a joy to have the time and space and inclination to get on with it at last. I watched escape to the chateau DIY 🧡

We are back! Gosh what a fun reprieve from every day life! We took carnival cruise from Long Beach to Catalina then down to Ensenada and back. So what did we do most of the time? Sleep! We have just needed some time off and time to rest not only our bodies but our brains. Having four days of no Internet and no TV really helps you to unwind and truly relax. I already started my chemo therapy and and feeling very fortunate that I’m not having too many side effects other than being tired.
