Indulge in the deliciousness of homemade Ferrero Rocher chocolates with a creamy hazelnut center, crunchy wafer, and a smooth milk chocolate coating. These delightful treats are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 200g hazelnuts, roasted and peeled. 200g milk chocolate, chopped. 200g Nutella or hazelnut spread. 100g crushed wafer cookies. 100g milk chocolate, for coating. 50g chopped hazelnuts, for coating.
Instructions: Place the roasted and peeled hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until they turn into a smooth hazelnut paste. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the 200g of chopped milk chocolate in 30-second intervals until fully melted, stirring in between. Add the hazelnut spread and crushed wafer cookies to the hazelnut paste. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. Pour the melted chocolate into the hazelnut mixture and stir until you have a smooth and even mixture. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour or until the mixture firms up enough to handle. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into small hazelnut-sized balls, placing a roasted hazelnut in the center of each ball. Place the chopped hazelnuts on a plate. Melt the remaining 100g of milk chocolate in the microwave. Dip each hazelnut-filled ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and then roll them in the chopped hazelnuts to coat the outside. Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for an additional 30 minutes to set the chocolate. Once set, your homemade Ferrero Rocher is ready to enjoy!

That’s vaguely ominous.
