Sitting on the chair across the room, Flynn was wearing a simple smile on his face. He had watched as you refused to back down from a drinking challenge at the Old West Saloon in 1878. You thought alcohol in historical times was watered down but quickly found that you were wrong as it began to take effect on the way to the Lifeboat. You remember stumbling down the stairs and greeting Jiya and Mason with wide arms. You had heard your name being called out and spun around only to have your vision go black.

When you finally came back around, you were in a bed. Exhaling, you pushed the covers off and swung your legs over the edge to sit yourself up. Rubbing your face, you let out a yawn before realising that there was another person in the room - Flynn Garcia who was quietly snacking from a bowl in his hands. He had been seated on a small armchair opposite the bed and lowered his hands.

“So, any regrets after challenging “Buffalo Bill” to that drink off?” He wondered, the amusement in his voice was hardly hidden.

Squinting through the harsh bunker lights, you felt you head aching from the hangover. You definitely wished that you hadn’t taken the cowboy on but there was no way that you were going to admit it.

“Like what?” You scoffed.

Shrugging his shoulders, Flynn pursed his lips innocently, “Oh, I don’t know... maybe passing out after we came back?”

“I only regret letting you take me away from the bar before I won.”

He knew that you were going to deny his valid points and just carried on smiling while he watched you fixed your t-shirt.

“How are you so...” your hands flew about gesturing to signal his entire being.

Flynn couldn’t help but chuckle at the confusing language that was thrown his way.

Letting out a huff, you dropped your hands. “You’re so ‘you’. Unaffected by 19th century alcohol or bad guys shooting at us on horse back. Just effortlessly charming through the chaos.”

“I’m charming? I’m flattered.” He winked, sending butterflies amuck in your stomach.

“Are you kidding me?” You frowned. Once again the cereal box that you enjoyed was placed on the topmost shelf - completely out of reach.

The first time it happened, you figured it was an accident and let it slide. The second, you made the effort to explain that the box belong on the lower shelf for easy access to all.

But this was now the fourth time that your suggestion was ignored and you knew who the culprit was.

Flynn was leaning against the table and silently watching you struggle with very choice words for him.

“You’re so close.” He commented which made you whip your head in his direction to shoot a scowl.

“I’ve asked you time and time again not to put the box on the top shelf unless it was empty.” You snapped.

“Well, it’s convenient for me.”

“It’s really annoying.” Trying to grab it again, you failed and let out a groan. That was the last straw. “Can you get over here and help?”

Flynn stood up and made his way over to you. He let out a short sigh and picked up the cereal box, handing it over to the bitter time-traveller.

You took it away from the man but your hope for eating the meal was decimated when you discovered that it had been emptied out.

Slamming the cardboard on the counter, you pinched the bridge of your nose internally cursing your luck to be sharing this one brand of cereal with the man. You really needed to request more breakfast options with Agent Christopher.

“Oh, it’s empty by the way.” 

Flynn’s little comment had you throw your head back and exhale at the ceiling, “You’re the worst.”
