Tim glared at his cup of his already gone cold coffee like it had personally offended him.

It had been six months since he and Danny had started dating and eight months since the incident.

His life has been going great—Amazing even! Tim couldn’t ask for anyone better or even want to. He had been getting decent rest and even goes to the occasional trips that didn’t consist of dealing with investigations.

Everything… was great…

Except that, Tim had always felt that he was lacking in their relationship, with shuffling between his day job and vigilante work. He didn’t think he even had time for relationships.

Then Danny came into his life, the person who consistently assured him that he didn’t mind with everything, the baggage, that Tim is.

With each and every cup of morning coffee handed over his muddled brain to the kisses to his cheek and the caress to his head.

Each interaction were enough to dispel any lingering thought in his head.

So, when Danny was having a bad day, Tim felt like he could finally do something for Danny, not that Danny had ever ask that of him. But he wanted to, and so he started to plan.

Monday morning,

Tim had woken up at 4am. Slowly slipping off Danny’s octopus hold and replacing his place with the Red Robin Teddy bear he had gotten for Danny on their three-month anniversary.

Danny would usually woken up first, but the exhaustion from his court duties must’ve hit worse than Tim had first thought if him slipping off didn’t stir him awake.

Tim had read a few breakfast recipes last night to prepare himself, but after seeing Danny make breakfast for them both every morning. It couldn’t be that hard right? Even the videos online had made seem to be simple?

Well, he was severely wrong.

He had forgotten to put butter to the pan before putting the eggs in and ended up burning the eggs. The toaster was put in the wrong setting and it turned to coal. The things he manages to burnt didn’t stop at the food. Even the tea he made had turned to nothing but coloured water in the end.

“Tim?” Danny’s sleepy voice called out to him from behind,

“..yes?”

“What are you doing?”

“Making breakfast…?”

“Is that supposed to be a question or a statement?” Danny laugh, he stood next to him and stared at whatever remains of the egg, “Is that for me?”

“Well, yes.. but—”

Before Tim could anything else, he saw Danny took out a fork and nibble on the eggs off the pan. “Their good,”

“?!?!?”

Tim could only stare owlishly as Danny took the whole pan with the charred eggs in it and started eating those sorry of an excuse meal.

            The next thing Tim planned was reserving the Gotham observatory—but don’t even mention reserving the whole place, he couldn’t even secure two tickets because of an apparent event that was happening. The entire place was booked out.

The next plan was bringing Danny to the restaurant they’ve been eyeing? A fail, There was a rogue attack the day before and the entire area was closed off.

Their favourite ice-cream place?? Under renovation

Movie night??? The TV decide that day was the perfect day to broke down.

Tim was at wits end when Danny huffed softly beside him, them both sitting at the sofa with the broken TV in front of them playing the blue screen, as if to mock Tim further down to depression.

“How about a walk?”

And once more, Tim felt like Danny had been the one to cheer him up, rather the other way around.

But Danny didn’t seem to care at the least. He brought Tim to Robinson Park and led him to one of the relatively empty hills. He pointed towards the sky.

It was clear.

The ever-polluted Gotham sky,

It was clear and he could actually see the stars up above.

“Thank you,”

“For what? I didn’t do anything.”

Tim felt Danny leaned and dropped his head onto Tim’s shoulder, “You did a lot”

“Like what?” He couldn’t make a simple breakfast, every plan he made turned into a cancelled date and a failed progress… —"Everything” Danny simply said, And in that moment, Tim couldn’t say anything or even refute him.

Like In the Batman and Robin (2009) series, while Dick was Batman and Bruce was "dead," Damian took a direct interest in Wayne Enterprises.

Unlike Dick, who ignored the financial side, Damian actively attended board meetings. Damian was also specifically trained by the League of Assassins in Business Management. His philosophy is that "in business there are wars, and even in war there are assassins."
