Once upon a time, in the ancient forest of Olm, there was a Tree whose trunk was white as snow and bore leaves of crystal. Rumors of its magic had spread across the land, a magic that gave guidance to those lucky enough to find it, enabling them to fulfill their desires. People from all corners of the world sought the Tree, but none prevailed. Many believed it was a myth, that such a magic could never be found...except one boy.

Born in poverty, all he knew in life was hardship. At an early age, he forged his own path, his own resolve amidst the downtrodden and depressed, hoping to one day become a man who could help his unfortunate fellows.

Once rumors of the tree reached his ear, he set out to find the fabled Tree of Wishes with what little belongings he possessed.

Days he searched, losing his way in the maze of a forest. Exhausting his provisions and weary from travel, he stumbled upon a glade with babbling brook next to a lone tree.

After drinking some water, he sat under the tree, resting a moment. For a time, he thought of the people of his slum, how he wished he had the power to change their lives, to care for the sick and hungry, wishing with all his might.

A surreal breeze passed through the glade, and an ethereal voice passed his ear...”Become a king.” He looked up to see the tree had transformed, the white bark glowing as the crystal leaves rustled.

As the voice spoke to him, he began to smile, as the words empowered him. He left the glade with the knowledge to make himself a king.

His journey, rife with peril, led him across vast distances, for the tree’s magic only showed him the way: he must walk the path himself with his own strength. The price of glory was heavy, for he experienced such daunting trials that surpassed his own imagination. His own nightmares.

It is said that the boy did indeed became a king, using his hardships to create a better kingdom for his people. A much beloved king who ruled fair and just like times of old. As his legend faded, his legacy was passed down from generations to come...For those destined for greatness must be of pure heart and strong in their convictions.
