Max definitely has a soft spot for David, he just doesn’t want to show it.

David loves to taser his sides every now and then

Max doesn’t usually gets back at David, tickling people in general is awkward for him.

David has totally woken up Max with tickles

The few times Max and David are alone together, David likes to tickle massage Max’s shoulders. (He thinks it’s funny how he scrunched up his shoulders)

Max usually holds onto David when he’s getting tickled, weather it’s an arm, leg, finger, torso, foot, Max just needs something to hold onto.

David and Max have made systems, if Max is getting tired but still wants tickles he’s taps David 3 times, if he wants to move spots that’s 2 touches, if Max wants David to go for the kill at his worst spots that’s multiple taps for it to start and stop, if Max is tired in general he taps David’s arms 4 times.

David loves to tease, Max hates it. (Love hate relationship with teasing)

Different spots have different laughs for Max, you can’t tell at first but after a while you can’t deny it.

Max likes the pinning, David does not like pinning max. Max thinks it’s fun and David thinks it’s torture for the poor boy

Max sometimes sleeps over at the counselor cabin, before falling asleep David always rubs his back so he can fall asleep faster.

David will find any way to tickle Max, cussing, bad moods, being mean to people, he will find a way to tickle him to bits.

Davids favorite tickle moments are when he finds Max grumpy or sad and tickles to cheer him up

David never knew he was ticklish until the ‘missing incident’ (I wrote a fic on it) but before that, he would alway graze or accidentally tweak his sides causing a gasp or a squeak in return. “Sorry Max, you ok?” “Yeah-yeah. It’s- just a bruise. That’s all!”

Even though Max is a crazy good liar, David can alway tell. (David tickles him until he tells the truth)

David loves nicknames, but only when he uses them, and Max hates nicknames. (Max: Grumpy pants, Maximilian, Maxy, Cutie, Ticklish Man, etc). (David: Camp Man, Leaf hair, etc)

Maxs laugh is very squeaky, he hates it, so he tries to cover it up by laughing deeper when he’s around other’s. So instead of a “Hihihi” it’s a “Hah Hah Hah” and most people think it’s fake.

David loved hearing Maxs real laugh for the first time, he was so shocked his voice could go that high.

Davids favorite spots to attack first are sides, underarms, thighs, knees, neck, then ears.

Max has memorized David’s tickling patterns and loves hates it.

Max is constantly wondering and exporting the camp, so it wouldn’t have surprised David if he got himself stuck in place. The most recent ones have been; (Little Fics Below)

An old cabin, he had reached for railing but missed and his fall caused the floor to cave in, causing his legs and arms to be pinned to his side. Good thing he wasn’t too far from the camp or David would have never found him. (David tickled his ears, neck, and shoulders)

Stuck in vines, classic, but not for the amount of bugs that were there. Max had adventured to the forest but David was concerned because of the last incident so he came with. Noticing vines just a little out of his reach, Max jumped up to grab them. The vines pulled down around max but tightened when they got caught on a branch. The vines were practically laced with Beatles making Max panic. “Uhh, David- DAVID!!” He squirmed realizing the Beatles came crawling towards him. Max had his arms pinned out and was held in the air but 5 tangled vines. “Stop! Stop!! Get- go away!!” He tried to shake them off the branch but they kept getting closer. Crawling through his hoodie sleeve, they scurried around his body, their favorite spots being the belly, armpits, and neck. Max practically screamed for David and David helped him out of this predicament.

String, now max wasn’t completely stuck but he was limited on movement. Neil thought if he tangled him up in string he wouldn’t be able to get out, and he was right, but Max took it as a challenge. After 6 failed attempts, he gave up and asked Neil to get him out. Unfortunately, not even Neil could get Max out of it. So when all else fails, go to David. David awed at the moment to make Max feel embarrassed. David then helped him untangle himself and got a few quick tickles here and there which drove Max insane. As quick attacks always made him jump and yell, but never laugh or giggle.

“Shhhh! Guys I’m trying to listen to what Terrence is trying to say!” Nikki shushed the boys cupping her hands around a fly and holding it up to her ear

It was a relatively hot day at Camp Campbell. Nikki, Neil, and Max laid in the grass that had been warmed up by the sun. David and Gwen thought it would be a good idea to give the campers a free day. (It totally wasn’t because Gwen didn’t wake up on time and David couldn’t think of anything to do for the day)

“Okay! Good bye Terrance!…. Yeah I can’t speak fly..” Nikki sighed

“I thought having a free day would be fun or something, I’m just bored!” Neil whined.

“Shhh! I’m trying sun bathe!” Max whipped out a pair of sun glasses and put them over his eyes.

“Sun bathing in a hoodie and jeans?”

“Guys did you hear that? I could have sworn I heard an annoying pussy start talkin” Max said with sarcasm

“Don’t call me a pussy Max!”

“I’ll call you what ever I want!”

“Can I call you stuff too Neil?” Nikki interrupted

“Nikki how about you go speak with the animals, you Snow White wanna be!” Max grumped

“Hey! I don’t even like Snow White!” Nikki frowned

“Max quit being such a dick!” Neil stated

“That’s funny, if you get to call me a dick then I get to call you a pussy!” Max crossed his arms

“I didn’t mean it like that!” Neil started to get annoyed with all the bickering.

Max, Neil, and Nikki broke out into an argument between all of them for different reasons, but it was mostly all traced back to Max. Neil pushed first

“Max your so annoying!”

“Don’t push me!” Max pushed back

“Ugh! This is exactly what I mean!” Neil and Max wrestled on the ground bumping into Nikki and pulling her into the fight as well.

“Let go!”

“Ow stop!”

“Hey!”

“GET OFF!”

“AUGH!”

Nikki and Neil both caught each others eyes and nodded their head, ganging up on Max and pinning him down.

“Hey! No fair!” Max gritted his teeth

“Stop calling me a pussy!”

“Stop calling me Snow White!”

“Get off me!!” Max growled

Now Max was pissed, this was just ridiculous! He squirmed underneath them but could get free. Nikki had pinned his shoulders to the ground while Neil unintentionally held his sides down.

“Stop callin us names! And say sorry!” Neil compromised

“This is outrageous!” Max groaned

“Now!” Neil readjusted his grip squeezing Maxs sides

“GAH! NEIL!” Max jumped

“What?”

“Don’t doho- that!”

“Do what?”

“Eh? Whatever you just did!”

Neil thought and squeezed Maxs sides again.

“Stohop! I mean it!”

“Max your ticklish?”

“Shut up!” Max blurted embarrassed

“What, can’t handle when I do this?” Neil teased squeezing Maxs sides over and over again. Max almost lost it. He tried to stifle any giggles trying to escape but Nikki was already starting to pin his arms

“GaHAha!” Max finally broke letting all the pent up giggles spill.

Neil moved up to his ribs to try to get a better reaction. Spidering between every rib and vibrating his fingers, Max was losing it.

“EHAHAhehaHA! NEHEhil!!”

“What?”

“QUHIhihit it!” Max bucked

“Say sorry!” Neil let up

“I- hihi- don’t say (inhale) sohorry!”

“Is that so? Nikki, help me out!” Neil smirked down at Max watching the smug in his eyes drain.

“I’d be glad too!” Nikki chirped, instead of hold his hands up she used her legs to pin them down, making her hands free. She giggled looking at Max wiggling her fingers, she swore she heard Max whine.

“Fuck!” Max let out his last words before Neil went back to his ribs and Nikki went right above his armpit. Teasing and tickling his upper arms instead. Luck for Max, Nikki couldn’t get under his hoodie like Neil.

“THISIS ihis STUPIHihihid!!”

“Just say sorry Max!”

“Yeah! Before I get you!” Nikki wiggled her hands in front of Maxs eyes. ‘That’s right, fuck!’ Max remembered, Nikki knew Max was ticklish, she knew all his spots.

“So are you gonna say sorry or not?” Neil stoped for a second.

“That’s not all! Look how he reacts when I get his ears!” Nikki quickly changed spots, Max squealed.

“NIHIKKII!! YOHOUR SUCH AHA *snort* GAH!”Did Max just snort? Holy moly, Neil was impressed. Nikki stoped to laugh.

“HAHAHehe! Sehee! Gosh Max you’re insane!” Nikki wiped a tear from her eye

“Nohot fuhunny!” Max said trying to catch his breath.

“Neil, if you’re still look for that apology. Try his hips!” Nikki said, grabbing Maxs hands and pinning them.

“NO!” Max blurted

“Like right here?” Neil teased tickling the air right above his hips

“And it will be a real apology?” Neil did his best to drag the tickling on

“YEHES!! IT WI-*snort*-IHILL!!” Max snorted again! Nikki was laughing her ass off.

“Ok ok!” Neil let up

“gehehez!” Max panted

“I’m sohorry! I’m sorry I cahalled yohou a- a pussy!”

“There we go!” Neil clapped, Nikki let go of Maxs arms and Neil got off.

“Ugh, please shut up!” Max said covering his face in embarrassment

“Some one’s embarrassed!” Neil said in a baby voice

“Stop!” Max pushed Neil away

“I got an apology! I got max to say sor-ry!” Neil sang

Max whined, turning to his side to think of what just happened. ‘Did I really just say sorry?’ God damnit! Neil turned around to see Max lying on the ground facing away from him.

“Hey Max? Are you okay?”

“just don’t mention this every again!” Mad mumbled

“Sorry what?” Neil got closer

“I SAID-!” Max stoped himself and quieted down

“I said, don’t mention this ever again! Not to David! Not to Space Kid! Nobody should know about this!”

“About how easy it is to take you down with just a couple wiggles of the finger?” Neil laughed

“Ugh! Shut up! And yes!” Max groaned

“it took so long to get Nikki not to say anything!” Max pointed to Nikki who was digging up the grass.

“Okay okay! I won’t say a thing!” Neil said putting his hands up and backing off.

The rest of the day was pretty tiring for Max, the three of them laid back down in the grass just talking about whatever came to mind. Max eventually fell asleep causing Neil to also fall asleep, which made Nikki also fall asleep.

Ted & Peter

Idk the exact age gap between them, but I’m pretty sure it’s close to 10 years or somewhere in that range. So Ted was old enough to take care of him when their parents needed him to, & he adored everything to do with his little brother

He lowkey was mad when his parents would take him away for a nap or something because that’s HIS playmate to do with as he pleases!

They were definitely closer when Ted was still pretty young. He would make up games for them to play & Peter would go along with whatever his big bro said

This included a lot of roughhousing & play fights that Ted always won. He would make sure not to be too rough with him tho

Tickle fights were very common between them & Ted was absolutely ruthless, not that Peter really minded all that much when he was little. Now that he’s older he makes more of a fuss, but he knows it’s just Ted’s way to show him he loves him

Ted used to tickle him mainly to cheer him up or play but now he just does it to be annoying & see his baby bro smile because he doesn’t smile as much as he used to

When they were little, Peter would fight back but rarely win unless Ted let him. Now that he’s older he can hold his own & has gotten a fair amount of revenge after his growth spurt hit

It was the best thing ever when Peter saw that cocky ass smirk leave Ted’s face as soon as he realized what was coming

Ted is soooo annoying I love him so much he does everything he can think of to piss Peter off. He messes up his hair, smacks his phone out of his hands, walk up behind him & do that thing where you kick someone’s knee from behind, & Peter finally has enough of it & snaps

Ted canNOT take what he dishes out & Peter thinks it’s hilarious

When they play fight it always turns to tickling & when they have a tickle fight it slowly escalates to violence kzhwksnf

I love them so much I don’t think it’s healthy

So we see how Max ain’t the nicest to his friends & still picks on them, so it’s only natural to assume he wrecks their shit at any given opportunity

Again for him it feeds into his power trip, but that’s only half of it. He really does love his friends & enjoys hearing them laugh

He resorts to tickling to make them laugh because he doesn’t think he’s all that funny. He doesn’t really know a lot of jokes so he resorts to Humor By Force

You are so SO right about Kyle giving off lee energy, he is so hyper & smiley dude just loves to laugh & hang out with his buds

Max teams up with Jason against Kyle most often, but if Jason is feeling down or looking particularly vulnerable he’ll rope Kyle into his scheme

Whenever he does this, he’ll tap them on the shoulder & just give them this look & they know what he means

Jason is a more equal match for Max & puts up more of a fight, so that’s why he tends to tickle Kyle more

Jason & Kyle also have tickle fights all the time! Kyle knows Jason is more playful & less mean with his teases than Max. But if Max walks in on them he will join in & help whoever is currently winning

Kyle is more ticklish & he has a really loud boyish laugh & it’s so cute! He throws his head back & laughs freely & doesn’t even fight back. He will just lay there & take it & weakly curl in on himself

His worst spots are his belly, thighs, ribs & feet

Jason has a deeper laugh but is still very bubbly & endearing

Fortunately - or unfortunately - for her, Steve was all too used to sass.

“Stop,” he said, swatting away her foot. “You’re worse than Dustin.”

“That’s an insult.”

“It was meant to be.”

She huffed, sticking her shoe into his face again. “You’re boring.”

“You’re free to leave.”

“There’s nothing better to do anyway.”

They were sitting on the steps leading up to Eddie’s trailer, Steve waiting for Eddie and Max waiting for god knows what. Max seemed to avoid being at home, but she seemed to avoid purposefully seeking everyone else out too, maybe afraid her mind couldn’t handle it once she got there. With Steve (or maybe more with Eddie - Steve suspected she did this more with him) she could just leave when she felt like it. No commitment. No hurt feelings.

Steve pushed her foot away again, twisting his body to glare up at where she was sitting two steps higher than him. She smiled, not innocently, but provocatively. Steve could see why everyone adored her. Why Lucas was head over heels for her, why Dustin and El fought for the title of her best friend, why Eddie let her hang around even though they had nothing in common. Why Steve himself would protect her with his life like he protected the others.

He huffed and looked away, hoping his thoughts weren’t written on his face because how cheesy was that? Fortunately Max didn’t seem to be done tormenting him because her red shoe was in his face again, this time tapping his ear and Steve had had enough, his dealing with Dustin instincts kicking in as he grabbed her ankle. “Stop.”

“Make me.” She said it before she started tugging at her leg and realizing she couldn’t escape his grip. “Let go.” Her tone, albeit in a subtle way, was less cocky now.

“No. You need to learn some manners.” Without thinking he started scribbling his fingers over the back of her knee, making her jerk away with a sudden, panicked laugh. “Oh, really? I didn’t think a little tickling would be your weakness.”

“Don’t,” she said, her voice laced with laughter. “I’m sorry, I’ll stop.”

“Mm, no. I think I need to make sure you won’t do it again first.”

“Steve, I’m warning yo-AH!”

Steve had gone for her knee cap this time, spidering his nails over it in a way he knew made Dustin freak, and while Max’s reactions were smaller, more calm, it seemed to be doing the trick anyway. She curled in on herself, hands flailing, seemingly unsure of how to react since Steve had her leg trapped. He tried to make sure she didn’t hurt herself, tickling and pausing and tickling and pausing in order to keep her from sliding down the stairs or hitting her head against the railing. His repetitive stopping made her laughter choppy, which was cute.

“Is your calf ticklish?”

“No!”

“I feel like you’re lying.”

She managed to grab the back of his shirt as he pinched her calf, pulling weakly at him without much success at whatever she was trying to do. “Stop!”

“This? This is called revenge. And I’ve only been at it for a minute.”

She groaned through her laughter and Steve was so focused on how her leg vibrated each time he tickled it that he didn’t notice his grip loosening until a foot came flying for his face.
