@workinprcgress knows the way to my heart

     it shouldn’t be a surprise that finn had decided to hole himself up in their room for most of the day. when he finally does emerge, hair flat in all the wrong places, eyes rimmed red, he trudges to the couch to bury his face in edwin’s chest. “feelings are stupid. being sad is stupid.”

      “y’sure hang out here a lot.” it’s the only way he really recognizes the guy, if he’s honest. usually the teenagers that stick around here for a few hours spend the whole time on their phone whining about the pizza. “s’kinda weird. you’re kinda weird.”

   ❛  i- uh.. forgot to bring my sweater.  ❜  she laughs.  ❛  oops?  ❜

          heaving a sigh, the girl squints at the problem before her. she had spent countless hours looking over her notes, but she still couldn’t grasp the topic ❛ i’m s-sorry. i just d-don’t get it. ❜ she couldn’t help but feel bad for taking up the boy’s time for her not to get it.

    veronica had been hanging out with edwin in his room since early this afternoon so when she looked at the clock on the wall, it read 11:23pm. she sighs as she realizes that her nurse would be looking for her right about now.  ❛  hey, edwin i think i’m gonna go–  ❜  the girl turns her head to see edwin sleeping beside her. with a soft smile on her features, she leans over to press a kiss to his forehead before covering him with a blanket. before she leaves, with a mischevious grin, she takes out her phone and she takes a photo of him in his sleeping state. cute, she thinks before quietly leaving the room.

          ❛ excuse me. ❜ eyes travel down to the other’s feet, words spaced out by heavy breaths. ❛ you’re stepping on my oxygen tube. ❜
