if its alright to offer my two cents, being someone who on-and-off is involved in irl kink groups, i dont think theres an issue per se with younger adults getting into kink stuff before doing "normal sex" but they really should be doing it Well Informed and through the right communities cause i think kink, bdsm etc teach you a lot about understanding boundaries and consent and communication that just having vanilla sex the "normal" way wont necessarily. but if you get into it without that knowledge it can be harmful emotionally & phsically. like for the love of god if ur gonna do bondage learn to do it in a way that wont potentially cause nerve damage <-- example

ok i said in a reply to a post but actually sending an ask because im fucking feeling this like. what ive experienced in the past was specifically in relation to skekekt (who is a homophobic/transmisogynistic caricature there is no pretending they arent) but applies here too that people will just take a shitty thing and pretend it's good representation and it drives me fucking insane. like skeksis & mystics & their relationship to gender/sex is something that i find a really interesting subject to explore within the context of the fictional world, and something to examine outside of it but i do think it exists because of shittiness on the writers' part. it's one thing to take something and make it your own and it's another to go "wow this thing is good, actually" and the fucking tdc fandom is so.... waves hands vaguely You Know

you posting constantly about it has really made me wanna rewatch dr who and then i was like hmmm... what if i watched... some classic dr who which turned out to be a lot harder to find online than i thought (altho i didnt look very hard) but i found it for free on a site thats just got a tv channel essentially of old dr who and it was playing war games and i was like oh :) i love this doctor! i sure hope nothing happens to him!

wrong station is a rly good horror podcast imo! the stories are hit or miss in quality but when they hit they HIT and the atmosphere is consistently good. like stories that id normally go ugh cheesy if i were just reading them sound really good in it (and some are just outright fun). also they have a list of content warnings on their site
