CORTIS HAVING ALMOST 500K PEOPLE WAITING IN QUEUE IS ACTUALLY INSANE AND THEY'RE NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD???

And even got a soundcheck standing?? (whatever that is?) on the final day. On the Melon Ticketing app, which has betrayed me before.

I don't even particularly (pls don't shoot me) have feelings about Shinee (I only have feelings about TAEMIN) but I'm doing this for @fayet who gave me a mission.

OK so I figured out some things for future ticketing (such as for Ateez whenever it is they're going to do their last Matz Before Military concert). I will treat the standing and soundcheck experience for Shinee as practice, maybe for Enhypen (who better do a goddamn concert this year, Heeseung or no Heeseung). (hahaha laughter of self derision - AS IFFFFF I WOULD ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO GET THOSE TICKETS FOR ENHYPEN OH COME ON)

I have found a PC bang that works great and doesn't make me feel an urgent need to take a shower as soon as I sit down. It's a walk from home, but that's OK. I don't like these places. This one too is full of gamer boys screaming curse words joyfully in a way that I find really distasteful. (Just to give you an idea of what a fussy little prig of a Miss I am - I am very sure I'm the only person in this entire place who is wearing pearls, for one, and I'm also pretty certain that I am the only person who has eaten a vegetable today). But the desks, keyboards and floor are very clean. The girl who goes around delivering the drinks and food smells like soap. (I think she also wants to wash off all these stinky smoker men shouting swear words). I checked and felt safe that the women's bathroom wasn't going to have a molka set up in there. Plus I didn't get bounced while in waiting and the check out worked great off of Melon Ticketing, which is a goddamn unfriendly app, worse than NOL.

The key thing to do for the last day (which is a Sunday and always the most popular day) is to just stay the fuck PUT and keep clicking and clicking as the singular 'grape' pops up in each area as others get bounced from their connection, system errors befall them or their credit card payments crash out, and um, snatch it out of their (presumably weeping) hands. I quite enjoyed this battle 1:1 with these unknown foes who were TAKING SOMETHING FROM ME THAT I DECIDED I WANT. .... Oh. Is this why people play those video games where they kill each other? Hm. OKAY.

Melon Ticket allows me to log on with two devices at the same time, which Nol absolutely does not, so that's a teeny tiny advantage.

I must always order a sugary drink as I gear up to do the ticketing.

I also think that perhaps, just a little bit, Shinee are over the hill because they're an older group?

OK. By frantically typing all this out I'm finally coming down from my adrenaline overload.
