Dale: Ah, the great outdoors!

James: How did my guitar get here? I didn’t bring it.

Dale: Ooh, mysterious. Maybe Bigfoot did it. Now I guess we’ll all have to listen to your wailin’. Bummer.

James: (grumbles) I hate you....

Amber: Does that mean I get to hear you play again? Thanks, Bigfoot!

Jack: We should be back in about an hour and a half. Try to stay out of trouble. Cora, we’ll hit up that waterfall path when I get back!

James: Stay out of trouble? What could go wrong?

Dale: You are literally swingin’ an axe around while you ask her that. Twenty bucks says you end up bloody today.

Cora: Nobody’s dumb enough to take that bet.

Dale: [whispers] We’re gonna pretend to look for firewood but really we’re gonna sit on our asses and talk about video games. [yells] Don’t chop your arm off!

Cora: Couldn’t we just talk about video games here?

Dale: [lowers voice] Sure, but I’m tryin’ to give them some alone time together. Don’t tell me you’re Team Jonah.

Cora: Um... I’m... Team Whatever-Amber-Being-Happy, I guess.

Dale: Fair enough. Look, it’s nothing against Jonah. He seems alright. But I swore a blood oath in first grade to be James’ wingman for life.

Cora: You did not.

Dale: Eh, mighta been second grade. He was too busy eatin’ his boogers in first grade to worry ‘bout girls.

Amber: I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that I don’t know how to drive a car and if you cut off your leg, I have no way to take you to the hospital.

Jack: Alright, I’m going to bed. I’ll see you guys in the morning. Marcus, do you still want to come into town with me in the morning? I can’t believe we forgot foil.

Marcus: Yeah, I can’t find my deodorant. That’s not gonna be good for any of us.

Cora: I think I’ll go to bed too. I want to get an early start if we’re gonna hike up to the waterfalls.

Dale: [suspiciously loud yawn] Ugh, me too. I’m still on Twinbrook time.

James: It’s an hour earlier in Twinbrook, you idjit.

Dale: You don’t know me. Also, I’m officially cuttin’ you off. No more beer tonight.

James: [sighs] Yessir.

James: I guess it’s just us. What about you, Sunshine? You turnin’ in?

Amber: Not yet. [giggles] Somebody has to make sure you don’t wander into the woods to serenade the bears.

James: Bears? Nah. I could sing to a skunk, though.

Amber: Please don’t. Although they are awfully cute.

Chad: Bro, that's fucking weak. What's she gonna do, say no? Nobody says no to guys like us.

James: She's allowed to say no if she wants. Besides, she has a boyfriend.

Chad: Who, Jonah? What's he gonna do about it? Draw a picture of himself trying to fight you?

Marcus: Chad, shut up.

Chad: What? Why? I'm just messing with him.

Marcus: For one because you sound like an asshole, and two, they just walked in the door.

Chad: Jonah! Amber! Other girl! Come join us! We were just talking about you!

Amber: James! You were incredible out there! I'm so proud of you!

James: Oof! *laughs* Thanks, Sunshine. I'm glad you guys were able to meet us here. You can have Chad's seat--he was just leaving.

Chad: Hey!

James: Cora, come down here! You're too far away!

James: Not to be rude, but you look really sad. What's wrong?

Cora: My twin brother goes to Foxbury and he was supposed to come to the game today since we were playing them, but he cancelled last minute. He said he has a biology exam on Monday to study for.

James: Well that sucks. Want me to kick his ass?

Cora: What? No! He's my brother! He just--he takes school super seriously. It's not his fault I'm not adjusting as well to being apart.

James: Dude, I'm kidding! Seriously, though, that must suck. I don't have any brothers or sisters, but I've known my best friend Dale since first grade, and he's practically my brother. I'd be bummed if he cancelled plans. I can't imagine if he was my twin. Hey, what can we do to help? Want me to talk Marcus into buying you beer?

Amber: James! You can't just get her drunk. Cora, I'm sorry. Let's do something fun this week. Maybe you can teach me how to play video games? The one with that little Zelda guy running around looks cute. I could try it?

Cora: *mutters* Zelda's the girl.

James: Hey, speaking of being into nerd stuff, Dale's actually coming to visit me later this week. Maybe you can hang out. He's pretty funny. You guys could start a club for red-headed nerds.

Cora: We prefer the term "geek."

Cora: Dale sounds nice, but I, uh... you're not trying to set us up, are you? 'Cause I'm not really--

James: What? No way. He's saving himself for Channing Tatum. Sorry.

James: Sunshine! You look... that's a really pretty dress.

Amber: *blush* Thanks! I got it over fall break. You look nice too!

Huck: (whispering) Holy shit, this is awkward. Twenty bucks says she goes home with him tonight.

Amber: Did you guys just get here? We were getting ready to get our pictures taken. You should come with us!

James: I, uh... we're not--

Amber: Jonah just left. I'm okay. Thank you for trying to help.

James: No prob, sunshine. Sure ur okay?

Amber: I'm mostly just angry at this point, honestly. I don't know what's gotten into him. Oh well. See you in class tomorrow!

James: Nah, leavin early to drive home for break.

Amber: Tsk, tsk. :-) Look, I made an emoji! Have a nice break and I'll see you next week!

James: You too sunshine.

James: uhoh your man just got back. hes slamming stuff around and packing up. Guess he's leaving tonight.

Amber: Are you okay?

James: Yeah i'm in the living room with Marcus. He didn't even look at me when he stormed by lol

James: WHOAH WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS FACE

Amber: Oh no, is it still red?

James: Holy shit, did you HIT him? is it wrong that im proud of you?

Amber: A little. I shouldn't have slapped him, but he was out of line.

Amber: James?

Amber: Are you still there?

Amber: Hello?

Jonah: Well, you got your wish, asshole. You won. She chose you.

James: I never asked her to choose, dude. You're the only one who wanted that. I wasn't trying to "take" her from you.

Marcus: Just go home and enjoy your break, man. You'll both feel better once you've had time to cool down.

Jonah: Yeah, that'll fix everything. Whatever. I'm out.

James: Sorry, I'm here. Everything's good. He just left.

James: Good night, Sunshine.

James: C'mon, let's go where it's not quite so crowded!

Amber: Are you sure we should leave the group?

James: I have a feeling they'll be okay.
