Also thank you! I actually do sorta miss drawing these guys(even tho you didn't mention akatsuki pfft), ahh I just wish there was more content for these ships so I could feel more inspired and make more content myself.

But seeing as people don't really care for these ships and instead strictly ship something else with these characters and others it's not likely.

He briefly considered carrying the girl that slept on his couch to his bed, but he didn’t know how she would react upon waking up next to him. Yes, their relationship was friendly now, but he was still the leader of Team Rocket. Former leader, at least. 

She seemed comfortable, though. As he grabbed a soft red blanket and spread it over her, he couldn’t help but just watch her chest move up and down with each breath.

She was so beautiful. He noticed himself constantly bringing his thoughts back to her whenever she wasn’t around. But he knew that even making the smallest of moves on her could turn her away forever.

She was sleeping, though. Definitely unaware of everything.

“Buonanotte, cara mia,” he whispered as he bent over to kiss her on the forehead.

“Leaf,” Giovanni said while pacing around the chair the young girl sat in, “how many times do I have to tell you that Ariana and I won’t ever be a thing again?”

“She’s the mother of your child,” she stated, sinking into the chair. “She’s more important to you than me, and you know it!”

“She hardly even talks to me anymore,” he sighed, stopping to look at her. “We were never serious, and it’s been at least 10 years since we’ve… um…”

“Fucked,” she said bluntly, standing up.

“Well yes,” he smirked, a light blush forming across his face. “But ever since Silver ran away, I haven’t really felt like I even have a family…”

“I’m… sorry,” she replied.

“Don’t be. I don’t need them. I have you, after all.”

“Giovanni, what the hell’s gotten into you!?”

Fortunately, his suicide attempt had failed, but his descent down Tohjo Falls had left him bandaged and confined to a hospital bed, several of his bones broken. He was sure to recover thanks to advanced Blissey treatments, but that didn’t stop Leaf from yelling at him.

“Leaf…” his mind was clouded from all the pain medication he was on, so the younger girl’s rant was mostly unheard. But he got enough of it to know that his actions had really hurt her.

“Leaf, I’m so sorry…” he said quietly, his hand weakly grabbing hers. He tugged it gently, signaling her to come forward, closer to his face. “Something came over me when I heard the broadcast, but then that girl… when she defeated me, I just felt… worthless. Emasculated.”

“Giovanni,” she said, carefully placing her arms on his shoulders. “You’re not worthless. You’ve just made bad decisions. Maybe the reason you lost was because… the good in you was fighting back.”

1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 5?

I was playing Platinum for the first time when I was 20 (well, I’d played it before right when it came out, but I only got like 3 badges I think) and I realized that Cyrus was pretty hot and he could use a girlfriend like Dawn to humanize him.

2. Have you ever read fanfiction about 2?

Yes, and I’m happy there’s so much of it (especially because there’s a decent amount of smut for it)

3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr ID?

I don’t usually have shippings for those sorts of things...

4. If 3 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be?

I’d be sad but I’d understand, I mean he’s a mob boss... but I’d hope they got back together.

5. Why is 1 so important?

Because they just belong together, I’m sorry. They need each other after the incidents with Kyogre and Groudon. They balance out their negative traits. They become each other’s best friend. There are so many reasons it’s currently my favorite ship.

6. Is 4 a funny ship or a serious ship?

Serious. As in, I ship them seriously. But they do have silly moments. (especially from Rosa, and by extension Colress being comically serious)

7. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?

Canon-wise, both Archie/May and Sycamore/Serena. But in my headcanon they all have really good chemistry.

8. Of all the ships, which ship has the strongest bond?

They all do! But canon-wise, I think Sycamore and Serena have the strongest relationship. Followed very closely by Archie and May.

9. How many times have you read/watched 2’s fandom?

A lot. Pretty much every time I play X or Y. Or whenever I’m in the mood for French professors...

10. Which ship lasted the longest?

They all end up getting married and staying together their whole lives in my headcanon...

11. How many times, if ever, has 5 broken up?

I don’t think they’d ever officially break up. Maybe they’d come close if Cyrus was all of a sudden afraid of his emotions, or Dawn was just frustrated with how difficult of a human being Cyrus is...

12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 1 or 3?

They all have Pokemon. They’d all live.

13. Did 4 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?

They didn’t really hide it, but they kept it low-key for a while because Rosa didn’t know how Nate and Hugh and her mom would react to her dating an older man, and Colress probably wants to keep a professional demeanor at all times.

14. Is 5 still together?

Yes.

15. Is 1 canon?

Archie clearly states that he and May are in a relationship, so...

16. If all five ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win?

I don’t wanna do this T_T

Mars, maybe.

All of them. Although I don’t really care what other people ship as long as they leave me alone about mine...

The second he hears her voice, he almost drops all of his papers. He wishes he could ignore her, but he's driven to stand up and stand face to face with her.

Hearing his voice is one thing. Hearing him sing to her is a whole other level. She wants to reach out and touch him, but she's too shy.
