but i especially love aymeric’s reaction. he not only notices wol is in pain, but he recognizes it as the echo immediately. and then later on, he yells wol’s name in concern and protects them when they’re hit with the wolgraine in a dangerous situation.

and his concern (notably much more pronounced than the characters in the other role quests, and i’m not even biased i can specifically compare them!! i swear!! the melee and tank role quests literally have the same “wolgraine happens in a dangerous situation” scenario!!) always makes me think. hmmm wonder where else wol had a weird migraine-like episode that caused them to falter in the middle of a dangerous situation and he wasn’t there when it happened and had to bring their injured ass back to ishgard. hm. Hmmmm. wow.

obviously aymeric is aymeric laporte, also because aymeric (de borel) is a proud defender of ishgard so defender would suit him the most

estinien is haaland because they both have that energy

i did make this as a joke but no matter how insufferable a fanbase is, it's unfair of me to compare a real person to the one fictional character that makes my blood boil every time i even think about the concept of him. so i've decided that said character doesn't get to be compared to a real life footballer.

but i've also come to a shocking realization.

a certain wol is praised for her abilities but not really interested in fame and just wants to spend time with her loved ones, seems to always be either hyperfocused on something or completely spaced out and mentally somewhere else, and despite being good at what she does she's extremely awkward and has no social skills.
