Thursday: I don’t want to hear it!
there are no words to express how much I adore the hospital scene in canticle. it’s just,,, perfect. so pretty. the concern. the relief. drowsy morse. corned beef. love it.
I was inspired by @jasmiinitee to try my hand at animation so here’s a very choppy 15fps first attempt at rotoscoping. I definitely wasn’t aiming for perfection or even length, it was just fun to do
The Waiting Game
One week, 14,000 words, and five extra chapters later...it’s finished!
The last chapter is a bit of a ride (in a rather different way than the first few were). I’d say I’m sorry but I’m really not. :)
Side note, I rather enjoyed the delightful repetition here:

*Endeavour S8 spoilers*
One of the things that make me love Fred even more is that when Joan refers to the letter Morse wrote in Zenana she says:
"Dad said you saved him(Strange)."
Like.
Fred didn't mention to her how hurtful Morse's words were, how disappointed he was with his bagman's behaviour and how devastated and afraid he must have felt at the thought of parting ways with Morse.
He could have said any of that, of course.
But what he chose to do, instead, was to pick a moment of bravery and focus on what Morse's got right even in his most critical moment.
Because that's what fathers do.
Like father, like son.
