What I like about them: Twilight Sparkle serves two roles really. One, sheâs an adorable dork learning about friendship and spreading it to everyone she meets. And two, sheâs the OP protagonist of My Little Pretty Soldier. Of course, both roles feed into each other in important ways.
What I dislike about them: I donât feel very strongly or creatively about her in slice-of-life contexts.
Favourite moment: For down-to-earth Twi, the song âYouâll Play Your Partâ in âTwilightâs Kingdomâ. For heroine Twi, the Tirek battle⌠also in âTwilightâs Kingdomâ.
Least favourite moment: âFeeling Pinkie Keenâ. The whole episode.
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more: Iâve said this before, but evil!Twi has been set up so well.
An interesting AU for this character: Time traveller AU.
A crossover: I actually started drafting a Puella Magi Madoka Magica crossover involving Twi for Thirty Minute Ponies once, but the idea rapidly spiralled out of the thirty-minute timeslot. (I donât think I would read an MLP/PMMM crossover by anyone else, though. I wouldnât trust them to balance the tone.)
OTP (or OT3+ etcâŚ. just⌠favourite ship): Omniship.
Other ships?: TwiDash, TwiPie, SunLight. In the right conditions, Twi x any one of the other princesses.
BROTP: Omniship again. The more I think about it, the more I prefer Twi to be aro.
NOTP: TwiCord, TwiSpike, TwiSentry, Twi x a princess in the wrong conditions⌠Gosh, I can think of a lot of bad ships for Twilight.
An assortment of headcanons!: Sheâs earmarked by a number of prophecies. Despite her friendless upbringing, she was never cynical nor socially anxious â she just thought friends were silly. Sheâll be the first of the M6 to die: sheâll be killed in battle protecting her silly friends.
