ok so here's how it happened
when she was growing up on the farm, pinkie pie never considered being a girl cuz the only girls around her were Maud and Limestone, and Maud is super reserved and Limestone is mean and Pinkie can't really relate to either of those.
But then she left the farm and met more girls and was like "Oh wait girls are awesome and can do anything" so she became a girl and never ever looked back.
Then the next time she visited home she immediately cracked Marble's egg. And Marble is still a shy baby trans girl who hasn't quite entirely found herself yet but she'll get there. She'll get there.
