The Thummerer domain is strongly influenced by French grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) sometimes I regret this standardization a little, I really like to discover local grape varieties, fortunately they produce some, especially on white wines. Let's talk about wine now, wine is a 2012, so I salute the seriousness of selling ready-to-drink wines. On the nose we have black fruit, notes of undergrowth, we also feel the woody notes of the aging then notes of spices and menthol. In the mouth the 15°, the 27 months of aging and the grape varieties make it a powerful and tannic wine. There is a nice complexity, concentration, animal notes and a nice acidity. Le domaine Thummerer est fortement influencé par les cépages français (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir et Chardonnay) des fois je regrette un petit peu cette standardisation, j'aime beaucoup découvrir les cépages locaux, heureusement ils en produisent un peu, surtout sur les vins blancs. Parlons du vin maintenant, le vin est un 2012, je salue donc le sérieux de vendre des vins prêts à boire. Au nez on a du fruit noir, des notes de sous-bois, on sent aussi les notes boisées de l'élevage puis des notes d'épices et mentholées. En bouche les 15°, les 27 mois d'élevage et les cépages en font un vin puissant et tannique. Il y a une belle complexité, de la concentration, des notes animales et une belle acidité.
