a song that reminds me of them - clichéd answer, but i saw this fanvideo to b.illie e.ilish’s ‘you should see me in a crown’ and listen it fits :/ she’s not queen zoya for nothing.
what they smell like - (minor spoilers for kos/row!) zoya always has some sort of floral smell about her, because of how much time she spends in her garden. it depends on what type of flower she spent tending to the most that day. sometimes she tries to mask the scent with her power, but it doesn’t always work.
an otp - nikozoya bc they’re just?? soulmates?? 100% meant to be.
a notp - zoya x darkling. this wasn’t something i had to worry about with the books, but the show decided to put this ship on blast and forced me to watch their scenes with my own two eyes........ rude af :/ the fact that some people out there actually ship this is just a big yikes.
favorite platonic/familial relationships - i really like how her relationship with genya progressed over the books. buuuut i also gotta mention alina bc their development is also beautiful. that scene at the end of r&r where zoya gives her the kefta and says she’s one of them still brings me to tears to this day.......
a headcanon that is popular in the fandom but that i disagree with - i’ll be honest, i’ve kinda stayed far away from the fandom since the show dropped? but from pre-show fandom, thankfully i haven’t seen any blatant mischaracterizations of zoya.
the position they sleep in - on her side, a little curled up. it started becoming a habit after she got to the little palace; being a child who felt all alone at first, she slept in an almost defensive position.
a crossover au i’d love to see them in - i always compare the grishaverse to the fullmetal alchemist universe bc of how similar the whole military aspect + powers/alchemy in high-ranking officers....... so yes that would be fma :/ they have some obvious similarities, but just enough differences where i think it’d be interesting to mix it up.
my favorite outfit they’ve ever worn - sadly zoya didn’t get many wardrobe changes in the show?? but her kefta suits her beautifully, so that’s what we’re going with here.
