@chocalafolie + dollie, some shady bar in mid-daylight.
⸺ aggressive, whiny sobs escape from her tiny frame. they're just loud enough to attract the attention of other patrons in the bar, eyes from all over the room pierce through both dollie and gilberts backs. she's a mess, hunched over the grown man, her drink spilling with ever sob, her once perfect makeup now runs down her cheeks. sniffling loudly, she downs the rest of her drink and nearly falls from her chair. "it's just, like, it's not f-f-f-fair!" she chokes out, grabbing onto his shirt so it's pulling and tugging into his neck. when the news first broke and started circulating throughout selphia, she'd done her best not to think about what it all meant. she didn't comment on it, went about her usual posting schedule like usual, she'd even managed a makeup tutorial upload on her channel...she kept her cool, that was, until she couldn't anymore. her nights were spent laying in her bed, a cold face mask soaking into her skin as she cried in the dark, awful images of her sisters being chosen, of her being chosen, of her life ending before she could achieve all the things she'd worked so hard for.
when it all got to be too much, she'd somehow found herself with the last person anyone would ever expect her to sit in a bar, spilling her guts out to through sobs. yet, there she was, blowing her nose into his shirt like a tissue and drunkenly letting it all slip out...even the things she'd yet to realize herself. "i don't w-w-want to die, i have so much i need to be...so much i need to do," she chokes out and goes quiet for a moment. she sniffles once more, and looks up at gilbert with those big brown eyes, a look on her face that no one had ever seen before. there was no wall up, no bells and whistles, no façade. this was her in her rawest form, a dollie that no one would recognize.
"i don't want to die before i can live, i don't want to die without ever getting to be myself..." another sob escapes her body, "i don't want to die before i ever get to kiss a girl."
