do you still think pet names are ooc for byler when they're older or did you just mean in fics set in their teens/early relationship? I'm curious! because i see it mainly 20+ with them using pet names, but I also still think (mike at least) there'd be an occasional dude thrown in since that can be a couple thing, it shows the friendship any couple has imo, it's not uncommon like some people may think.
i don't know! I think eventually they'd have some sort of shorthand pet name for each other as they get older! I kinda see them as a more chill type, simple "babe" type people. But yeah---with their past friendship being the building block of their relationship i don't ever see them sort of losing that casual "dude" "man" aspect either, especially when they're co-mixing with the Party. And especially Mike.
