It was really ridiculous how much focus that interview put on his sexuality.I think most of us knew for a long time but who cares?Aren't the things he's done for his country and his sport more important then who he wants to sleep with?I'm pretty sure most Australians love him for the awesome person that he is.The media are the only ones who care about the his sexuality.

Thank you Facebook for telling me that the Thorpedo just came out on Aussie TV. You've effectively dampened my 14 year-old self's swimmer crush, happy yet?
Doesn't matter he will forever be the Aussie in a full body suit, glasses, with that gorgeous symmetrical smile that kept me doing distance swimming back in the day.
I should've seen the signs-- you were too much of a full package to ever be available.
In all seriousness, I'm totally supportive of him and will forever be his fan!
