Hi Tumblr and new followers! Noticed my old Eevee drawing making the rounds so I figured I’d update. Have some fun Cryptids for your October needs. These are for #thorntober Feels good to draw again, even if they’re generic toony 101
#Thorntober day 4: The Beast of Busco! A massive 500 pound snapping turtle that was spotted in Indiana in 1949. I decided to model it after an alligator snapping turtle because those things are just the GNARLIEST things ever. Like a living blastoise! Â
Thorntober Day 1: Ahool
“The Ahool or the Athol is a winged cryptid. Some portrayed the creature as a giant bat while others claim it is flying primate. The name Ahool comes from its loud distinct cry.”
Even though I’m not doing #thorntober I still wanted I draw the #fresnonightcrawler #cryptid. There is almost nothing known about these walking pair of pants. #fresno #art #ink #traditional #traditionalart https://instagr.am/p/CGYp5w6D0BD/

Day 3- Calygreyhound
So I decided to make a “tropical animals” variation of the typical calygreyhound. Mainly Exageratede a bit the jaguar markings and used goat horns/legs, the toes are just kinda birdlike lol
I'm really liking this prompt list, creature design is dope

inktober day 4: amur leopard.
day 3. day 2. day 1.
This was meant to be an amur leopard, but apparently I was so exhausted last night, I thought I'd made it a lot floofier. Woke up this morning and realized it looked more like an African leopard.
Don't trust tired you when arting.
But I tried, and I do like it, so it's ok.
