Hello and Happy Friday, Beauties!! I hope you guys had a fabulous week. Today, we’ll be going over the looks I did this week and what my standout products were. If you’re interested in seeing what I loved this week, just keep on reading.Â
Being on this low-buy has really helped me discover some gems in my collection, as well as actually use what I have and enjoy more. I’m into it. Now, I will admit that I will have a Lush haul up on the blog next week, but I haven’t purchased any makeup in a couple weeks, so there’s that.
Anywho, let’s get into what I loved this week in products and looks.
I think that the product I loved the most this week was my Lancome Dual Finish Multi-Tasking Powder Foundation, $40.00. This powder truly is multitasking, because I can use it lightly to just set my foundation or apply it to bare skin and get some coverage like I would with a BB Cream. You can use the powder wet or dry, but I haven’t tried it with a wet sponge or anything. I love this powder to pieces and would recommend it to you guys.
I forgot how much I enjoyed the Buxom Va-Va Plump Shiny Liquid Lipstick, $20, until I used it the other day. I have it in the shade Stay the Night, a burgundy shade. I definitely want to pick up more of these. They’re just as great as the Milani Amore Shine Liquid Lipsticks that I have been wearing nonstop for the past few weeks. If you’re in the market for a high end shiny liquid lipstick, these are for you.
Now, let’s check out my looks from this week.
For reference: The images on the left are (top to bottom) from Wednesday, Thursday and today. The image in the top right corner is from Monday.
The only day that I wore liquid foundation this week was Wednesday (my current fave, the bareMinerals barePro, in case you’re curious). Every other day this week I used the Lancome powder I mentioned earlier in this post for my base. Today (Friday), I went for a quick look because I couldn’t be bothered, so I just threw on my brows and mascara with a little gloss. All of my eye looks this week were created using various single shadows I have in my collection. I had forgotten about some of them, so I’m glad I got more use out of them this week.
So, this week I was loving two of my looks, instead of just one. Now, of course the green smoky eye I did was one I loved too, but that’s not news. Monday’s look on the left was my jam because I just loved the way the yellow shadows went with my nude lip and yellow shirt. Thursday’s look on the right is something of a go-to look for me when I just want to do something simple that looks like I did a lot of work. Plus, I’m always down for a bold lip, so that’s a thing.
That’s it for my weekly review, y’all. Let me know in the comments below what products rang your bell this week.
Until next time, Beauties!! xoxo
