TO APPRECIATE JEM CARSTAIRS AND ALL HIS WONDERFUL ADORABLE LOVEABLE SELF. WE ALL KNOW THAT HE WAS NEVER JEALOUS OF WILL, BUT LIKE HE ACTUALLY SAID IT. That the love between him and Tessa or Tess and Will was not extraordinary or out-of-this-world like everyone says it was. It's the love between the three of them that he cherished most. It was the love between the three of them that could have broken the world, that filled their hearts with so much emotion.
I never really believed that there were teams in the Infernal Devices, nor would I really say it has a love triangle if you mean it in the sense that two people compete for another person. because they didn’t. They loved each other equally. Tessa says that she would not have been able to love Jem as she does if she had not also loved Will, because Will was a part of Jem, and vice versa, and it’s true. And I just really think we should all freaking appreciate that for a moment, and that it wasn’t just us who noticed. Jem and Tessa (And probably Will but you know he’s dead) felt and understood what it was too.
