this semester is SOOO FUN!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 I get to write this essay about an old carcass (2006) that sat on our porch for a week 😍😍 and my other essay is on the Mo Willems’ essay, “latestyle … The Ages of Breadth & The Breadth of Breadth”. YUM!
Two more teaching days before midterm break.
I soooooooo ready for a week without classes.
I mean, I'm going to have to work on the second half of the semester to prep and get ahead with assignments etc ... and grade everything before midterm grades are due which means I lose three days of break ... and order fall textbooks ...
But I did book myself a spa day as a treat and am going to have lunch with the youngest at a mediterranean place that has the best baklava. Maybe head up to Pittsburgh for one day and eat pork soup dumplings, shop at the big Asian grocery store, hit the Korean bakeries, and step into my favorite shoe store.
And I'm going to sleep in every damn day.

✨2/1/2023, Week 4 of Final Semester✨
I won’t lie. This semester has already been really really tough. I passed all of my final skills check offs and my final test off, but these exams are kicking my ass. My test anxiety has been miserable this semester and I am trying to work to get it under control. I feel pretty downtrodden right now and I know this post seems a bit more somber than normal because of that feeling, but I know I’ll just pick myself up and work even harder. We are going to make it through because we have to and we have gotten back up from worse. Running on pure adrenaline and determination now. Fingers crossed your studies are going better than mine and I’d love to hear what everyone’s favorite part of the semester so far is!
