In Kurt Cobain's documentary, 'Montage of heck'; hè explains how the fear of losing loved ones before you is the most incapacitating feeling. And that eventually resulted in so much of his anxiety and depression because he couldn't cope with the idea of seeing his loved one hurt or pass away. That fear was so self absorbing that it consumed the sanity in him. Yet, once you become a mother that's the fear you wear around your neck like a pendant. You take it every where even in your dreams. You see your child as a manifestation of your traits good and bad ones and you would do anything in your power to see them achieve milestones in life. But the immense feeling of anything happening to them becomes so overwhelming that it becomes impossible to carry on. And there's no escaping this, it is here to stay.

The unchartered lands
Of unknown fears
Making sense of days

Held captive in the shadows
That walk next to me at night
They know where I sleep
And creep into my morning tea
Tasting the bitter reality
Of where I used to be
Inside my mind is a home
I built so long ago
I've forgotten where I put the keys
Drowning in deep slumber
Is who I was some time ago
Alone I watch the sunset
As twilight turns to dust
And I witness the world belong to someone else
At least for now I know
The reflection I see
Is no longer me.
